Story
We are on a mission to raise funds for the Nottingham University Hospitals Charity, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the care and experiences of patients, visitors, and staff across four local hospitals — Queen’s Medical Centre, City Hospital, Ropewalk House, and the Children’s Hospital.
Our fundraising efforts will focus on two vital areas. First, we aim to contribute to the charity’s general funding pot. This flexible funding is essential as it allows support to be directed where it is needed most. It helps improve ward environments, enhances staff wellbeing, upgrades patient and visitor spaces, provides essential equipment, and supports projects that may not otherwise be possible. Often, it’s the small yet practical improvements that create the most significant impact!
Secondly, we are dedicated to supporting dementia care through Care Express. This includes creating safer and more welcoming ward environments, providing specialist staff training, organising meaningful activities such as tea parties, and introducing therapies that promote dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. Together, these initiatives ensure that patients with dementia feel supported, understood, and cared for throughout their hospital stay.
We invite you to join us in contributing to a cause that delivers meaningful, everyday improvements across our local hospitals.
