Story
As a Girl Scout Alum, Lifetime Member, Volunteer, and Staff – for me, Girl Scouts is all about community. We offer girls and young women the chance to belong to a community, to create lifelong friendships, and to become the best versions of themselves along the way. We also help those youth members learn how to be part of a successful community. Girl Scouts make the world a better place, and it's only possible when all the parts of our community come together as one whole.
My mother was the Girl Scout troop leader for both myself and my sister. It's a legacy that we continued as troop and service unit volunteers. We were driven to volunteer to help create lasting memories for her daughters (all four of them!) and to provide them with the chance to learn skills, dream big, and have adventures. Our Girl Scout circle has grown over the years, and I'm gso rateful that my adult Girl Scout journey began as a Girl Scout Auntie!!
My passion for Girl Scouting has led me to become active at the state, council and national levels. In my new role as GSOFCT Chief Membership & Impact Officer, I have the chance to help bring Girl Scouting to every youth member who wants to join across Connecticut and to ensure that the experiences we offer them help create opportunities for a better tomorrow.
I know that my mother would be proud of the work we are doing and the community we're building here at Girl Scouts of Connecticut.
THANK YOU for helping to make it possible.
Your gift today, no matter the size, allows GSOFCT to sustain our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
