Story
A group of colleagues at SES Water is doing a sponsored litter pick in aid of The Wildlife Aid Foundation (WAF). This amazing animal charity is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of British wildlife. It runs one of the UK’s busiest wildlife rehabilitation centres and deals with more than 20,000 wildlife-related incidents, each year. One in seven species in the UK is facing extinction (in our lifetime), and 50% of all British species are in decline, so their work has never been more vital.
WAF is raising money to build a new Wildlife Centre and we want to do everything we can to help them. The Centre will allow them to care for more animals, while inspiring future generations about the role they can play in conserving British wildlife.
On Wednesday 28 February our group of dedicated litter pickers will be out in our community, in Leatherhead, picking up as much rubbish as we can. We would love your support to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated – thank you!
