I’m taking on a firewalk on Friday 13 November 2026 to raise money for Families 1st North East / Families 1st 4 Additional Needs.

Families can find themselves needing support for all sorts of reasons, and having somewhere local to turn can make a huge difference. Families 1st provide practical help, kindness and support through food and self-care parcels, donated clothing and furniture, community support and help for families with additional needs.

I wanted to do something that felt meaningful and genuinely challenging for a cause that matters to me. Walking over hot coals is definitely outside my comfort zone, but that’s exactly why I chose it.

If I can face the fire and raise some money along the way, it will be completely worth it.

Any donation, however small, will help support local families when they need it most. And if you can’t donate, sharing my page would mean just as much.
