On 27th June, I lost my amazing mum, Marta, after a brave 7 year battle with cancer. Throughout every one of those years, WICCI provided incredible support to my mum and our family, helping in so many ways, financially, emotionally, and practically making an incredibly difficult journey that little bit easier. In her memory and in aid of all the incredible work WICCI do, I’m running 200km throughout August to raise money so WICCI can continue supporting other families in the Western Isles, facing cancer.
