Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Kunal, Risha and Dylan will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on 20 July 2026 to support a local charity, The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children and Young Adults. The charity supports deaf children and young people in Hertfordshire to develop confidence, communication skills, and the ability to successfully integrate into the hearing world.

Standing at 5,895 metres, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. As one of the Seven Summits, the climb is widely recognised as a significant challenge due to the high altitude, extreme conditions, and the physical and mental resilience required to reach the summit.

This challenge is not just about reaching the top — it is about raising awareness and supporting a charity that makes a real difference to young people and their families.

If you would like to support us, any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards helping The Phoenix Group continue its valuable work.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your support.
