On April 27th 2025 I will be taking part in the Manchester Marathon, in Aid of the Dream Come True Charity.

Dreams Come True is a national charity with a mission to enrich the lives of children with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting condition by making their dreams come true.

It is the only UK wish granting charity that supports children living in the highest areas of deprivation.

Whether it’s a specially adapted trike for a child with cerebral palsy or a tablet to help an autistic teenager develop their communication skills, each dream brings moments of magic and has a lasting impact for years to come.

In 2023 they fulfilled the dreams of over 6,300 children and young adults with serious and life-limiting conditions. This wouldn’t be possible without the selfless donations.

I understand that January has been a long month and times are hard, but any donation will be helpful.

I am now 6 weeks into my Marathon Training programme and am documenting it on Strava if anyone would like to follow the journey.
