Malnutrition is on the rise in Syria. The lives of thousands of children are at stake. Acute malnutrition can be treated and prevented with a package of key services but for that we need urgent action and support.

Story

If we don't act now malnourished children in Nigeria will very soon become starving children. The conflict has affected every aspect of their lives.

Nigeria children are living in the world's most dangerous place to be a child and have suffered unimaginable violations. 2.6 million children have been forcibly displaced. In Northeast Nigeria alone, 26,720 children are acutely malnourished; malnutrition has become a silent killer inside Nigeria.

The cost of full treatment per child is £300, which includes a medical analysis, necessary supplies, food rations with a weekly follow up with each child for three months.

The deteriorating nutrition situation is mostly attributed to continued exposure of children and their families to unsafe living conditions, the impact of the COVID-19 mitigation measures, insecurity, displacements, and economic hardship, poverty, food insecurity, family separations and destruction of infrastructure.

Let's make a difference together.
