Story

Limbs of Hope: Prosthetics for Ukrainian Heroes

Join us in making a difference for the brave Ukrainians who have lost their limbs in the devastating russian war on Ukraine.

The impact of the full-scale russian invasion has been immense, with hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians injured, killed or losing their homes. Shockingly, up to 50,000 individuals have experienced the loss of one or more limbs, marking a level of amputations not seen since World War I, according to estimates from The Wall Street Journal.

On the second anniversary of this ongoing conflict, we aim to raise EUR 30,000 to provide life-changing prosthetics for those who have suffered the tragic consequences of war. This fundraising is part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) Community Initiative. The Initiative will provide additional EUR 30,000 to complement the fundraising.

IMPORTANT: you can use GiftAid if you're a UK taxpayer, which will be added to your donation!

The fundraiser supports the Eneida Foundation (We Help Ukrainians), a UK-registered charity (registration number 1184779) dedicated to improving the lives of war survivors. The funds raised will directly contribute to providing prosthetics, offering hope, mobility, and a chance at a more fulfilling life for those, who have sacrificed so much.

Every donation brings us one step closer to our goal, providing tangible support to Ukrainian heroes, who continue to face the challenges of rebuilding their lives. Together, let's extend a helping hand and show solidarity with those, who have endured the physical and emotional toll of war.

Your generosity can be a beacon of hope in their journey toward recovery. Join us in making a positive impact and giving these heroes the opportunity to reclaim their lives beyond the scars of the war.
