RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

My brother Craig and I are going to be doing the Motoscape Rally to Venice on September 4th 2026 in our Mini Cooper Called Tallula (Named by my daughter) Its covered over 162k and got few rattles here and there so here’s hoping it can do a few more miles we bought it for under thousand pound we will be starting in Montrose and finishing in Venice will be doing 8 Countries UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Italy.

Im currently a trainee in the Montrose lifeboat and have wanted to do it since my Gran took me down to visit the lifeboat station when I was a wee boy and now got my health sorted it’s allowed me to do so.

Me and My brother Craig who is lorry driver in his full time job are very close even though we don’t see each other for couple of weeks at a time we speak nearly every other day so we decided to do this together in aid of a good cause

Company’s that would like to sponsor us and get a sticker made we can put it on car and give bit advertisement for you as the car will be driven about even before we go to make sure there’s no bad surprises

We are also looking to see if anyone would like to donate towards the fuel please send us a message separately as all funds on here go to the charity

Thank you very much for your time and if you have donated Thank you again.

Kyle & Craig

Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.

RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.

Thank you.
