Take on the UK's biggest Gravel Cycle Event with distances from 200km - 65km in support of Action Medical Research!

Story

Each year, I take on a physically and mentally challenging event to raise money for a cause that matters. This year, I’ve set my sights on something truly brutal—the Dirty Reiver 200km.

For those unfamiliar, the Dirty Reiver is one of the UK’s toughest gravel events, winding through the remote forests and rugged trails of Northumberland. It’s a test of endurance, resilience, and sheer determination. Over 200km of unforgiving terrain, relentless climbs, and technical descents, all designed to push riders to their limits. It’s an event where just finishing is an achievement.

But this isn’t just about the challenge—it’s about making a difference.

I’m taking on this monumental ride to raise money for Action Medical Research, a charity dedicated to funding vital medical research to help sick and vulnerable children. They work tirelessly to develop treatments, find cures, and improve the lives of children affected by diseases and disabilities. Many of the medical advancements we take for granted today—like the first polio vaccine in the UK—were made possible thanks to their work.

Every kilometre I ride will be in support of this incredible cause, and I need your help to make it count.

If you can, please donate—every pound makes a difference. Your support will keep me pushing through the pain, fatigue, and brutal climbs of the Dirty Reiver, knowing that together, we’re making a real impact.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
