Rotary Club of Maidstone Riverside are planning to raise as much money as they can for Demelza & the Kent, Surry & Sussex Air Ambulance (KSS) together with local charities by running a Swim Relay!!!

After the success of the last two years events which raised over £40,000 the Rotary Club will be running the event again on the 22nd March 2026

As well as Demelza & KSS, this is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise money for the club. We have registered two teams from Maidstone Swimming Club to swim as many lengths as possible in 20 minutes. Last year we were top team so let's do it again this year!

There are many ways the funds raised can be used by the club, for example gala equipment always needs maintaining, replacing or repairing. We are constantly supporting new and existing coaches and officials through training to achieve their qualifications. Our amazing Open meets and Presentation Nights also need a lot of funding up front to be as successful as they are.

Demelza & KSS will be providing a lot of organisational and fund-raising support as well as providing helping hands on the day. So, let’s try and raise as much money for our wonderful local charities as we can!!!
