🚴‍♀️ Next year, I’ll be cycling 391km from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Angkor Wat, Cambodia in support of Alder Hey Children's Charity. Having worked for the charity for four years, I’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact charitable funding has on the 450,000 patients and families cared for at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital every year. Now it’s my turn to take on something big!

Why Alder Hey is so special:

🌟 Every penny raised goes above and beyond NHS funding, supporting life-saving equipment, research, facilities, and technology. It also ensures every child experiences the Alder Hey magic—the little extras that bring comfort and joy to their hospital stay.

🌟 We treat more children than any other UK hospital.

🌟 Alder Hey is a major trauma centre with its own helipad. This means that we treat a lot of patients from outside of Liverpool, due to the specialist care available!

🌟 Alder Hey Children's Charity co-funded a MediCinema on site- the first hospital cinema in a solely paediatric setting, allowing young patients to experience the magic of movies from the safety of the hospital.

🌟 We’re building a state-of-the-art surgical neonatal intensive care unit—the first of its kind in the UK.
