Everyone who knew Mary knew she was a passionate campaigner for justice. She cared deeply about climate justice, global justice, justice for women and children, and justice in global conflicts. She was especially passionate about justice for Palestine, having been an active supporter of the Dundee–Nablus twinning initiative.

In Mary’s memory, we are asking for donations to Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation.

MSF provides emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, and natural or man-made disasters—without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. They work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.

Mary believed deeply in the dignity of every human life. Your gift continues Mary’s legacy, helping those who need it most, just as she would have wanted.
