As many of you know, our beautiful girl Eden (10 months old) tested positive for Cystic Fibrosis at 4 weeks old. We have found great support in the services and workshops offered by the CF Trust UK and hope very soon, our daughter will be benefitting from some of the life changing medication the Trust has campaigned to be made available to those in the UK with CF.

Along with extended family, fueled by determination and a shared mission: to conquer the 10-mile Tough Mudder Challenge on June 15th and make a difference to two charities that are important to our family - Cystic Fibrosis and Bright Sparks SCIO.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.

The Bright Sparks mission is to provide valuable, involved, inclusive and quality based child and family oriented services which includes playgroup, holiday activities and after school support for children with complex additional needs and their families.

We would ask that all donations that are for Bright Sparks are donated to the team member named "The Gills."
