I believe that refugees deserve better, and so I'm fundraising for Refugee Action. They've been standing up for refugees since 1981, and their vision is that refugees and people seeking asylum will be welcome in the UK.

They deliver frontline services for refugees, and campaign for their rights. Please donate if you can, and help fight for a fairer future for refugees and people seeking safety.

The world is a frightening place at the moment, and refugees are being scapegoated here in the UK and overseas. Sometimes it seems insurmountable, the callousness with which we treat our fellow humans, but we can all do our part for a more equitable world. I have been lucky enough to have worked with refugees in my life, they are amazing and resilient people.

Over the course of September I will be waking 150 miles for Refugee Action.
