Across the globe, Lions are rolling up their sleeves and taking action. With over 1.4 million members, Lions Club International are the largest service organization in the world with 46,000 clubs. We’re as dedicated to helping those in need today, as we were over 100 years ago when we first began. Since the charter of our Club in 1995 Lions Club of London Seven Kings, we have raised and distributed over a quarter of a million pounds (£250k) to many worthy and charitable causes; with the help of our supporters. Along with raising money, we have given substantive number of hours in service to the local community and the environment, such as planting tree’s, distribution of Message in a Bottle, helping local hospices as well as with the elderly and those less fortunate. Please support the Seven Kings Lions Club. It's through your donations that we are able to continue serving those less fortunate than ourselves.

Story

The Redbridge Giving Tree is an initiative set up by the Seven Kings Lions Club to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged, disabled and seriously ill children. Now in its 10th Year, we have catered for 100’s of children and distributed over £25,000.00 of aid as a direct result of the generous donations we receive.

We provide disabled and disadvantaged children an opportunity to select gifts at Christmas (which they otherwise wouldn’t receive) to a total value of £10.00 per child. In addition, we serve Haven House, a well-known local children’s hospice that looks after seriously ill children by providing them with specialist equipment.

This year we shall be providing Haven House with 6 urgently required specialist bed mattresses which are used to provide comfort to children, particularly when they are being nursed with end of life care. Additionally, we shall also be providing Haven House with a specialist Oxygen Monitor, an essential tool used when caring for the sickest children.

Please give whatever you are able to afford and join us in helping provide comfort to these children.
