On July 17th 2014, Laila was born at 30+3, weighing 3lb3oz, Laila is turning 10 this year and we are forever grateful to the staff and resources from Walnut Ward, the special care baby unit at Darenth Valley Hospital. Without them, we would never have taken our baby home and we would not have her sassiness in our lives today. When asked what she wanted to do for her birthday, Laila said she wanted to raise money to help other babies like her. She has decided to do 67 skips per day every day throughout July, to celebrate being born 67 days early. 💜
