Five-year-old Tate from Swansea has Sanfilippo syndrome Type A, a rare form of childhood dementia. I anm helping Just4Children race against time to raise funds for life-changing gene therapy before his condition progresses. Without this treatment Tate’s condition will continue to deteriorate and eventually kill him.

As a child with a rare childhood illness myself, Tates story hit me hard. I’m fortunate enough that my condition is treatable here in the UK, and thanks to that treatment I was able to regain my once extremely limited mobility. Now I want to put it to good use!
