I am so beyond blessed to say I will be supporting such a valuable charity as I run the London Marathon this April!

🧧 A lil goal of £425 - for each of the 42.2 kilometers I run (or crawl) for Matthew's Friends.

👭 Matthew's Friends is a charity that I work closely with, and see first hand ALL the life-changing support they provide to neurologically impaired infants and children with epilepsy. With a mighty team of just six, it’s amazing to see the invaluable impact they make.

👩🏽‍🍼 For many families I work with, the ketogenic diet is only offered after having multiple medications fail on them, with each of them bringing awful side effects. Trialling the ketogenic diet can be life-changing - reducing or even stopping hundreds of seizures, lowering hospital admissions, and helping families feel like they “have their child back”, engaging again with school/play, being able to recognise family members again.

🔬Matthew's Friends practically provide invaluable support in different ways. Whether it is educational materials in hospitals for every family we train, equipment to make starting diet easier or for those struggling, or educating professionals worldwide and sharing and driving research.

🏃‍♀️‍➡️ Some of you may know my love for the London Marathon as I've gone to cheer it every year for the past 48369 years 📣 So I am very grateful to have the opportunity to even consider running a marathon, let alone for it to be London and for Matthew's Friends.
