500 Miles for Humanity — Amsterdam to Birmingham, July 2026
4 Countries. 26 Cyclists. One life-changing goal.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
In July 2026, I am joining a team of 26 cyclists to take on what will be the longest and most demanding ride of my life — 500 miles from Amsterdam to Birmingham, crossing four countries along the way.
Our route takes us through Amsterdam, Breda, Brugge and Dunkirk, before a ferry crossing over the English Channel to Dover, then cycling through London and Coventry before finally reaching Birmingham.
I won’t dress it up — 500 miles is a serious undertaking. I’m training hard every week to make sure I can see this through, because giving up isn’t an option when real people are depending on what I raise.
Why I’m Doing This
Cycling has become more than a hobby. It clears the mind, keeps me in tune with my body, and pulls me away from the daily noise. I wanted to combine that with something that actually matters — so I’m riding for Cycling for Humanity, a charity that changes lives through three areas of work:
• Safety & Education — Supporting orphanages like Unique Homes in India, providing a safe home for girls who have been abandoned
• The Gift of Water — Installing fresh water boreholes in villages across East Africa, replacing miles of daily walking with a lifetime of clean water
• Local Support — Feeding homeless people across the UK, making sure no one in our own communities goes without
My Goal: (£2,000 achieved in 24hrs!) updated now £3,000
Every penny you donate goes directly to the cause — none of it gets lost along the way. I’ve set myself a target of £3,000 and I need your help to reach it. Big donations are brilliant. Small ones add up faster than you’d think. Whatever you can give genuinely matters.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and completely secure. Your details stay safe — they’ll never be sold or shared. Once you donate, the money goes straight to the charity.
Thank you for your support. It means more than you know.
