Sebastien Delorme is raising money for Britain-Nepal Charitable Trust

Lakes 3000 Challange for Nepal · 1 May 2027

The Britain-Nepal Charitable Trust (BNCT) is the fund-raising and grant-making arm of the Britain-Nepal Society (BNS). The BNCT has taken on responsibility for the administering and making the annual grant previously offered by the BNS, using funding transferred from that organisation and other funds raised by the BNCT. The annual grant goes towards projects or initiatives in the areas of health, education, the environment, equality promotion, and supporting community and social welfare across Nepal. The Trust also raises funds in order to be able to respond to natural disasters in Nepal.

Story

We are taking on the lakes 3000 challenge to raise money for the Britain-Nepal Charitable trust. A 78km, 4,400 meter ascent trek over two days, more than the equivalent of basecamp to Everest summit.

The flash floods in northern Nepal have devastated villages & lives. We are raising money for Britain-Nepal Charitable trust to help communities recover.

Three of the team volunteered in Nepal in 2019 with Raleigh International, and we have friends whose friends have been lost and childhood villages destroyed and we know that as a country still deeply affected by the 2015 earthquake and already suffering the effect of climate change, they need all the support we can give.
