Lancaster Handball 125km relay for CALM

Anna Muchardt is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Lancaster University Handball Club will be running a 125km Relay in one day in support of CALM · 24 April 2026

For Roses 2026, Lancaster University is joining the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) in their movement against suicide, the leading cause of death for 125 people every week and the single biggest killer of young people in the UK.

Story

We are the Lancaster University Handball Club, taking on a 125km relay in one day to raise money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

We chose 125km because 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK.Each kilometre represents a life lost to suicide

We’ll run as a continuous relay, each person taking a turn until we hit 125km in one day.

We’re doing this to raise awareness, support mental health, and back the vital work CALM does.

We are grateful for every donation to this fantastic cause
