Landen's HYROX fundraiser for Stroke Association

HYROX Glasgow · 13 March 2025 to 16 March 2025 ·
When I was just 14 years old, my world changed forever. In 2010, my family and I faced the devastating loss of my father, Brian Lancaster, to a stroke. It was a heartbreak that felt insurmountable at the time. But over the years, I’ve learned to carry his memory with a smile, cherishing the moments we shared and the man he was.
Brian wasn’t just a dad—he was a force of nature. A funny, charismatic man with a twinkle in his eye and a voice as warm as syrup. He lit up every room he entered, a true social butterfly who left an impression on everyone he met. His love and zest for life shaped my own journey, inspiring my passion for sports, my personal relationships, and the joy I find in connecting with others.
Nearly 15 years may have passed since we lost him, but his memory lives on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the love we hold in our hearts. Now, I want to honor his legacy in a way that makes a difference.
I’ve signed up for my first HYROX—a challenging fitness competition—and I’m dedicating this journey to my dad, Brian. It’s my way of giving back and supporting families facing the pain of losing a loved one or helping stroke survivors on their path to recovery.
Times are tough, and I understand if donating isn’t possible, but if you can contribute anything at all, it would mean the world to me. Together, we can turn loss into hope, and honor those we love by making a positive impact. Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for keeping Brian’s spirit alive with me.
