In May 2025, our friend and colleague Aaron received the devastating news that he had been diagnosed with leukaemia. Since then, he has shown incredible courage, positivity and determination while undergoing treatment. Aaron is soon to start his fourth round of chemotherapy and, with the amazing support of his medical team, is on track to make a full recovery.

To show our support for Aaron—and to help others going through the same battle—the staff at the Landscape Institute are taking on the Thames Path Ultra Challenge this September. Some of us will be running or walking 50km, and others 25km, pushing ourselves physically and mentally in solidarity with Aaron’s journey.

We are raising funds for Leukaemia Care, a charity that provides vital support to patients and families affected by blood cancer. Their work makes a huge difference—offering emotional guidance, financial advice, and practical help when people need it most.

Every donation, big or small, will help Leukaemia Care continue their incredible work. Together, we can support Aaron and help many others on their path to recovery.
