Well folks, we're finally doing it!

Commencing 23rd February 2026, myself, cameraman Steve and my old friend and mountain guide Raju Tamang will be setting off to the Langtang Valley in Nepal.

I'll be carrying 20l of water in a traditional Nepali Doku basket from Sybrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa, walking several miles in the shoes of Nepali village women and girls who have to endure this burden several times a day.

We will ascend over 1400m on this challenge, reaching an altitude of 3870m - which is why I have set the target on this page to £3870! We'll be live streaming as much of it as we can, so check out the TBF social media to watch the struggle in live 4k action.
