Story
As the daylight shortens and the temperatures drop, I set myself the challenge to keep active and keep spending time outdoors. And what best way to do it then running?
In the run up to Christmas (pun intended) I will therefore take part in two races, a 5K in November and a 10K in December.
I will run to support the amazing people at the British Liver Trust, about whom you can read in the blurb below. It’s now almost 13 years that I worked in Liver research, quite literally from bench to bedside, and I touched first hand the challenges and stigmas that patients in this community and their families endure ❤️🩹. And the BLT advocates for them, day in and day out, and they are amazing partners to help them navigating this scary disease 🙏.
If you’re so inclined, please consider helping me helping them with your donation. Every penny helps 🫶
Thank you,
L x
