Cutting my hair

The Children's Cancer Unit Charity supports the work of the medical team and staff at the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. We are a registered charity and depend on donations and fundraising by the general public.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m raising money to support the CCUC who look after and support our littlest warriors. As a student nurse I have seen first hand how the littlest of our children have the biggest hearts. Donating money to the CCUC will support these children with new equipment, facilities and even cosy days in the unit with pizza! Your money will help go towards home visits, staffing/specialised care and future research.

I have been very fortunate to work alongside the CCUC and Queens University Belfast in providing a students conference to bring awareness to this childhood disease, and couldn’t be more fortunate to be able to help out in such a small way of cutting my hair.

Although funds will be raised for the unit itself, my hair will then be donated to the Little Princess Trust who specialise in creating wigs for our children who have lost their hair.

Every little helps, thank you very much ❤️
