Supporting children’s mental health is one of the most powerful investments we can make in the future. That’s why I’m proud to support Caudwell Youth.

Caudwell Youth provide one to one mentoring to young people struggling with mental health across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Childhood should be a time of growth, discovery, and confidence-building, but for many young people facing emotional or psychological challenges, it can feel overwhelming. Early intervention, compassionate care, and access to the right resources can make a life-changing difference, helping children build resilience, self-belief, and hope for the future.

As someone with ADHD, this cause is deeply personal to me. Neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD and autism, are statistically more vulnerable to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, particularly when their needs are misunderstood or unsupported. While receiving a diagnosis can be an important and validating step, it is only part of the journey. Emotional support, understanding environments, and patient guidance are just as crucial. Feeling heard, accepted, and encouraged can transform a child’s confidence and wellbeing. By supporting Caudwell Youth, we can help ensure that neurodivergent children are not just diagnosed, but truly supported to thrive.
