Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is a conservation charity and award-winning zoo. We protect and care for over 100 species – supporting conservation of animals, wildlife and biodiversity in the UK and worldwide. Our aim is to protect wildlife and the natural world and provide an oasis of inspiration for all.

Story

Over the past few years I have got into cold water swimming: I've found it really good for my mental health to dip in Clevedon marine lake all year round and now I'm starting to swim longer distances in the Summer.

This Summer I'll be swimming the equivalent distance of crossing the Bristol Channel from Penarth to Clevedon....and back! A total of 26 miles. This will be a series of outdoor swims of 1 mile plus in or near the Bristol Channel: Clevedon marine lake, Portishead Lido and some sea swims too!

I'll be raising money for the Rescue Tiger Appeal - helping Noah's Ark provide a forever home for a tiger, named Aqua who was rescued from a horrendous situation at the Poland-Belarus border, and following rehab in Spain is now awaiting a forever home.
