Story
Sober October Challenge – Put Down the Drink & Do a Mile a Day for Essex Dementia Care
This October, we’re combining two powerful goals: getting healthier and supporting a vital local cause.
We’re asking everyone in Essex to join the Sober October Challenge:
🍷 Put down the alcohol for the month of October
🚶 Walk, run, cycle, swim, or move at least 1 mile every day
🧘 Or choose another healthy habit – yoga, dancing, rowing, skipping, gardening – it all counts!
Every step, stretch, or spin of the pedals will not only help you feel better but will also raise money for Essex Dementia Care, a small local charity making a huge difference for people living with dementia and their families.
💙 Essex Dementia Care isn’t a large national charity — they depend on local people like you. Every pound raised will go directly to helping them continue their vital services.
