After being thoroughly spoilt running 26.2 miles of London’s finest shortly after the sweetness of September last year, I have admitted to myself that I am a fair-weather runner… hats off to those of you who signed up for the London Marathon 2023, you’re braver than me!

I shall be picking up my running shoes again for the Berlin Marathon this September in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK, which is a topic incredibly close to my heart. Their vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
