Running for My Son, Teddy 💙

On Sunday 20th September, I'll be taking on the Swansea Bay 10K alongside my brother, his fiancée, and some of our amazing friends.

I'm not just running for the challenge. I'm running for someone who inspires me every single day: my son, Teddy.

Teddy was born with Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum (ACC), a rare condition that affects the way the brain develops. Like so many families, our lives changed the day we received his diagnosis. Since then, Teddy has shown us what true resilience looks like. Every milestone he reaches has been achieved through determination, courage, and his incredible smile that brightens every room.

I'm raising money for Corpal, a charity that provides invaluable support, information, and a sense of community for individuals and families living with ACC and related conditions. Their work helps families like ours feel less alone, offering guidance and hope when it's needed most.

Training for a 10K has pushed me both physically and mentally, but it's a small challenge compared to what Teddy faces every day with such strength. He is my inspiration, and every mile I run is for him and for every family living with ACC.
