Laura Atkinson is raising money for HOBY UK

Team: Team fundraising for HOBY UK

Born Survivor · 16 May 2026

HOBY UK has over 14 years experience of running residential seminars and one-day workshops for 14-18 year-olds. Our main focus is LEADERSHIP. We work with schools, youth groups and families across the country and internationally. We employ a social change model of leadership, which aims to: •Build self-awareness and confidence •Develop leadership skills •Inspire young people to contribute to their community by volunteering. All our workshops and seminars are led by our talented, committed young volunteers. Most of them attended our programme themselves and want to pass on the experience to others. Last year our volunteers worked with 130 young people and between them they delivered over 3,000 volunteer hours. At HOBY UK, we believe that young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow, they can make a real impact today.

Story

On 16 May, I’ll be taking on Born Survivor – a tough obstacle course designed to test physical strength, endurance and determination – all to raise money for Wardens charity of the year, HOBY.

HOBY does incredible work supporting young people, helping to create positive opportunities, improve wellbeing and change lives for the better. Every donation raised will go directly towards supporting this vital work.

Any contribution, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help make a real difference.

Thank you so much for your support
