Story
On Sunday 11 October, we're running the Royal Parks Half Marathon together, in memory of our darling Mum, who we lost to brain cancer nearly 12 years ago.
Not a day goes by that we don't think of her and the time lost. In the years since, friends have also felt the impact of this disease through their loved ones — we are running too for you and the many, many others affected.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and young adults under 40 in the UK. Historically, brain tumours have received a fraction of national cancer research funding which has held back new forms of treatment. This is starting to change, for example with new gene therapy trials starting this year.
More money raised for research means real hope for better treatment and outcomes. Please give what we can.
With love and thanks,
Tamsin and Laura x
