Story

Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page ❤️

I’m taking part in my second Ultra Challenge for Action Medical Research. This time I’ll be walking 100KM over two days in the Peak District 🚶🏽‍♀️to raise money for this wonderful charity which is close to my heart.

Being born 10 week’s premature myself, weighing a tiny 2 lbs and spending my first six weeks in an incubator, I truly appreciate the wonderful yet vital need for medical support and research to ensure other premature babies can be as lucky as I am.

Each year, around 55,000 babies in the UK are born preterm and sadly more than 1,000 babies die as a result of being born too soon.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people.

Join our fight for little lives.
