We are a team of passionate and dedicated employees from Balfour Beatty and CPS, taking on the incredible challenge of the Great North Run. This year, we're not just running for personal achievement; we're running to support four amazing charities that are close to our hearts: Maggie's, CALM, Parkinson's UK, and Target Ovarian Cancer.

The Charities We’re Supporting

Maggie’s

Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional, and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends. The centres are designed to be warm, welcoming places where you can find solace and strength during challenging times.

CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

CALM is dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. They offer support via a helpline and webchat, campaign for societal change, and bring people together to reject living miserably.

Parkinson’s UK

Parkinson’s UK is the leading charity driving better care, treatments, and quality of life for those affected by Parkinson's. They provide invaluable support, fund ground-breaking research, and raise awareness about the impact of this debilitating condition.

Target Ovarian Cancer

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity, working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research, and provide much-needed support to women living with ovarian cancer.
