Battersea Park Half Marathon · 27 September 2025

We support patients living with Paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH), an ultra-rare bone marrow failure disease, and their families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. No PNH patient is alone - all are represented and enabled to live to their full potential with PNH.

Story

Milestone 1: €500 ✅

Milestone 2: €1000 getting there 💪

I’m running my very first half marathon (21.1km! 🏃‍♀️) to raise awareness and support for people living with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH). PNH is an ultra-rare bone marrow disease that affects 5 people per million globally. The disease is caused by a mutation in bone marrow stem cells, leading to the destruction of red blood cells and requires extensive treatment. 🧬

Because PNH is so rare, many patients may never meet another person with the same condition. That’s why PNH Support, a patient-led charity is so important. They provide vital peer-to-peer connections, family support, and advocacy with healthcare providers and policymakers. 🏥

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping those affected. Thank you so much for your support 💜
