We are then going to travel round Nepal recovering, and enjoying ourselves for some time, before we head to Simalchaur Syampati’s Namaste Homestay to take on the Doku challenge with Ian PaniWala in aid of The Bimiri Foundation.
The Bimiri Foundation is the charity we have chosen for this epic challenge, to raise awareness and funds to assist their second project to build the water pipeline to the village of Suara where they hope to install taps for all 45 homes in the village, so they don't have to spend their entire day, and walking miles every day collecting water to enable them to survive. For example: This will allow the villagers to have more time to produce agricultural and other goods to make a living and support their families.
The fundraising for this project has been going strong since the completion of Bimire and they are now just a few thousand pounds from completing their target. They hit a big milestone on Sunday 16th March when 4400m of pipe was purchased and delivered to the village.
Please help us to raise as much awareness and and finds as possible, no donation too big or small.
