I am running the Dublin women's mini marathon to raise essential funds for Abortion Support Network.

A woman's right to choose when it comes to her reproductive health needs is a matter of human rights. Restricting abortions does not stop them from happening but only stops women from accessing safe abortions.

Abortion Support Network provides advice on travelling for abortion, financial assistance towards the costs, and accommodation for those forced to travel across Europe for abortion care from Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Malta, Gibraltar and Poland. They give grants, when needed, towards the £400-£2000 cost of abortion travel.

The funds raised here will directly impact and support women in need of safe abortion support.
