Story

Hi all,

Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to read my story…on Saturday 2nd September 2023, I'm taking part in the Folkestone Downs Challenge, by hiking 36km (22 and a bit miles) raising money for Pilgrims Hospices.

I am completing the event with a small group of colleagues who also work as healthcare professionals for East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust and who share my passion for quality end of life care.

As some of you will know back in 2015 I ran the London marathon for this charity as the work they do is just phenomenal, witnessed first hand and close to my heart.

By donating you are helping Pilgrims deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year.

Your support is really appreciated and SO important!

Thank you!
