**George’s Tribute: An 8K Charity Walk around Draycote Water for Alice’s Arc in memory of Neive Warwick**

Inspired by heartfelt conversations with his mom following the loss of his friend Neive, George, a brave and compassionate 7-year-old, has decided to take on an 8K charity walk to support Alice's Arc, a children's cancer charity. Moved by Neive’s story and determined to make a difference, George wants to raise awareness and funds for the fight against rhabdomyosarcoma, one of the leading causes of death in children under the age of 14.

We are incredibly proud of his desire to help others and his commitment to such an important cause.

George believes that if we all come together and do something special, we can make a real impact for children and families affected by this devastating illness.

** Neive’s Legacy and Supporting the Fight Against Rhabdomyosarcoma**

In September 2022, Neive, aged 5, was diagnosed with embryonal/fusion negative parameningeal rhabdomyosarcoma. Her care was led by the dedicated team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she bravely endured nine rounds of intensive chemotherapy and proton beam therapy. Beginning in April 2023, Neive commenced maintenance chemotherapy, but unfortunately, her end-of-treatment scans in September 2023 revealed disease progression in her brain and spinal fluid. Neive returned home for palliative care to spend precious time with her family. On October 24, 2023, Neive passed away peacefully and gracefully in her own bed, surrounded by unconditional love and her mother holding her hand. She was only 6 years old.
