Hi everyone, I am delighted to share that I have been selected to participate in Project Play: Uganda 2025. As many of you know, I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures; however this trip is different in that it offers me the chance to make a real difference for a derserving community.

🌍 There are many things in life that we take for granted, including the ability to play as a child. Unfortunately, there are millions of children in the world who don't have the privilege of a safe space where they can be free to play. I am raising money for Play Action International in the hopes that one day all children can enjoy a space where they can be happy and safe.

📚Supporting Play Action International aligns with fundamental human rights principles outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The charity’s work directly contributes to children's right to play, education, and development, making it a cause worth supporting.

🇺🇬Every child deserves a safe and supportive space to learn, play, and thrive. Simple play experiences can improve a child's physical development, learning capacity, school completion rate, future employability and lifetime earnings.

🧩£5 provides a games board for children, fostering interactive play.

🪘£15 provides musical instruments for children to create their own music.

🛝£30 funds playground equipment that encourages imaginative play.

👩‍🏫£50 supports training for educators, improving play-based learning methods.

Our awesome and dedicated team of volunteers will be heading to Uganda in summer 2025! We will be transforming an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground so that children can access a childhood!
