It is with great sadness that I announce the untimely death of my beautiful Nan, Beryl Colgate. She was a wonderful wife, mum, nanny and great nanny.

She lived in East Tilbury for 60 years, and knew many people who loved her.

She has worked in the Bata factory, the green grocers and as a dinner lady at the primary school over the years and made many friends.

She passed away on 5th February just after Midnight after a very short battle with cancer at her childhood home with her family around her. She was ever so brave.

We would love to thank St Luke’s Hospice and their wonderful team of nurses and carers who looked after her amazingly. In memory of my nan we’d like for you to donate to this charity.
