Myself and Matt will be running the Cathedral to Castle run on 7th April. I say 'run' loosely as we signed up late and have struggled to get the training runs in. The run may end up in walks, even crawls 🤣 but we will finish!

Not wanting to miss an opportunity to raise some much needed funds for a wonderful charity I volunteer for and give us both some much needed encouragement...

Number 8 is a fantastic local charity that provides supportive accommodation for young mum's and their babies in Tamworth.

Being an expectant/new mum can be a vulnerable and difficult time without needing the added worry of being homeless.

Number 8 houses young mum's in an environment that they feel safe and secure, assisting them through the difficult time before and after having a baby. Mum's are caringly supported in the looking after of their babies, guided through basic and essential skills both for themelves and baby, given opportunities to get involved in courses, training & further education, and provided with practical & emotional support.

I have seen first hand just how brilliant this charity is and the hard work that everyone puts in to help others. Any donation, however small would be so gratefully received!
