Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am a directed living kidney donor who has experienced complications post donation, and I want to share my journey with you. It all started when I made the decision to give the gift of life by donating one of my kidneys. Little did I know that this selfless act would lead me down a challenging path.

After the donation, I faced unexpected complications that turned my life upside down. The physical and emotional toll has been immense, but it only strengthens my resolve to support organisations like Kidney Research UK.

Kidney Research UK is at the forefront of ground-breaking research and support. Their tireless efforts in finding better treatments and ultimately a cure give hope to countless people around the world.

I am participating in the Easter 50 Ultra Challenge 2024 (10km route). By taking on this challenge, I aim to raise awareness and funds for Kidney Research UK so that they can continue their vital work.

But I can't do it alone. I need your support to make a difference. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a future where kidney diseases are preventable and treatable.
