Lorraine - a friend and colleague has had, and is still having a long battle with bowel cancer. She has been through so much yet never complains and is a real trooper.

Her tumour was found during a routine FIT test and her over riding message is for everyone to get tested, watch out for any changes and always get concerns checked out as soon as possible.

I will be running the Brighton half marathon in February to raise much needed funds for Bowel Research UK as I believe research and early detection is key.
