Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am preparing to swim the longest distance I have ever done (2 miles!) in the serpentine to raise money for Child Rescue Nepal.
Child Rescue Nepal (CRN) are an awesome charity who work with local partners to rescue children from slavery and forced labour, trafficking and unsafe working conditions; reunite them with their families (where possible) and nurture and support them through safe-houses, education, bursaries, essential supplies and love - through childhood and beyond. Their transition programme; supporting teens and young adults through further education and into employment and adulthood and allowing them to follow their dreams and fulfil their potential is particularly close to my heart. Understanding that child trafficking is closely related to poor school attendance and lack of education opportunities, CRN also work tirelessly to support local schools and communities: building bridges; enhancing classrooms and lobbying for legislation to protect vulnerable children in Nepal. The work they do is truly inspiring. For more detail, information, stories and to get in touch please see their website: https://childrescuenepal.org
Or feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for your support! 🙂
