I am running the London Marathon for the Bromley Homeless Charity in memory of my Aunty Jenny.✨

Jenny struggled with her mental health and during a particularly tough patch, she became homeless. She was very hard to get through to and difficult to keep track of.

The Bromley Homeless Shelter changed everything. They were able to break through to her, helped her back on her feet and made it possible for us to reconnect. She even moved into her dream home and it was so lovely to see her happy again.

Sadly she became very ill, but the wonderful volunteers Angela and Caroline continued to visit her in hospital and came to her funeral. This is when we found out that they give all their time completely unpaid. They truly are real life angels.

Homelessness can happen to anyone for so many reasons. Good people can find themselves in very hard situations.
