We are raising funds in memory of our much-loved colleague, Rick Hearnden, who sadly passed away on Monday 2nd March 2026.

Rick was a truly special person - kind, loyal, hardworking, and deeply dedicated to both his family and his work. He was an integral part of our practice for many years, respected and admired by colleagues and clients alike. His warmth and generosity touched so many lives, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his final days, Rick was cared for by the wonderful team at Marie Curie Solihull. The compassion, dignity, and support they provide to both patients and their families is nothing short of extraordinary. For anyone who has experienced the care of a hospice, you will know how invaluable it is, offering comfort, peace, and precious time together when it matters most.

By raising funds through St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation, we are able to match donations received and donate the equivalent amount to Marie Curie Solihull, helping them continue their incredible work.

The team at Hearnden & Weston Wealth Management, led by Practice Principal Nicky Hearnden, Rick’s son, will be taking part in Tough Mudder on Sunday 5th July at Belvoir Castle, Grantham. We will be taking on the 15k course and its 20 muddy obstacles in Rick’s honour and we are certain he would find great humour in watching us put ourselves through it.
